Sage Canaday
Sage is a Mountain-Ultra-Trail Runner who also competes in road marathons. He is a 3-time USATF National Champion (Mountain Running, Trail Marathon, and 100km Trail), and 2-time US Olympic Trials Qualifier in the Marathon (2:16:52 personal best). In 2015 he was 16th place at the Boston Marathon.
In 2012 Sage started running longer ultra-trail races and fell in love with the unique challenges of such events. Some of his top performances on the trail include winning the Speedgoat 50km, three times, setting the course record at the White River 50-miler, winning The North Face 50-mile Endurance Challenge in San Francisco, and winning the Tarawera 100km in New Zealand twice. Heading into the 2017 season, Sage would like to tackle more 100-mile events, with his top goal of competing for the win at races like UTMB and the Western States 100 in the years to come.
Originally from Oregon, Sage now lives and trains in the mountains of Boulder, Colorado where he co-coaches at SageRunning.com with his girlfriend Sand
