Ryan Ghelfi

Ryan has been working on the long game for many years. Even as a track and cross country runner in high school he began competing in multi-day adventure races and setting records on Half Dome in Yosemite. Running and a love for all things in the mountains ultimately brought Ryan squarely into the ultra trail world.

Six years into his ultrarunning career he has won some races, podiumed at a few more, and has tackled some of the most daunting trails and events. To name a few, he’s placed top 10 at both TNF 50m Champs and Lake Sonoma multiple times won the 2016 Pine to Palm 100 mile, 2016 Transrockies run with fellow Spring Tribe member David Laney, and set an FKT for the ascent of Mount Shasta.

Ryan lives in Ashland Oregon with his wife Natalie and son Laiken. He’s a professional runner for Hoka One One and coaches runners through his business Trails and Tarmac.
